FLORIAN CASPAR RICHTER
I studied directing and conducting in Chicago, before working as 1st AD for American TV series. This was followed up by work in theater, festivals and musical as as conductor (e.g. Les Miserables, A Chorus Line, Evita). I have collaborated with international legends like Philip Glass and Christopher Hampton.
Since 2009 I have been working as a producer for film and TV.
I co-produced MY WAY TO OLYMPIA, which premiered at Berlin Film Festival 2013 and was shown on PBS. EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT was screened in Munich, Montreal and Sydney. I produced films for streaming services and feature films for the European market.
I am an alumni of Fulbright, IFS International Producing and the University of Chicago. I play the piano and I am a member of the German Musical Academy.
I am a proud father of two daughters and a son and live and work in Cologne and Schleswig Holstein, Germany.
